Warming spicy pumpkin puree

If you’re a pumpkin fan, this refreshing pumpkin smoothie is definitely for you! Just the right amount of sweet and creamy smoothie to nourish both body and soul. The pumpkin smoothie is accompanied by sweet banana, silky almond milk and just the right amount of spice for a pumpkin smoothie! It tastes like a dessert, but is also perfect as a hearty snack.

Quantity: for two smoothie lovers
Preparation time: 10 minutes (if using pre-roasted pumpkin)
Severity: light
To prepare you need:

  • 200 g pumpkin puree
  • 260 g bananas (3 medium)
  • 250 ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 10 g honey or maple syrup
  • pinch of ground ginger
  • pinch of ground cardamom
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of ground nutmeg
  • blenderite

How to make pumpkin puree?

Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend into a smooth smoothie with a silky texture and enjoy immediately. To make the pumpkin puree, place a piece of pumpkin weighing about 500 grams (remove the seeds beforehand) with the skin in the oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes until the pumpkin is soft. Then let the pumpkin cool. When the pumpkin is completely cool, scrape out the necessary amount of pumpkin puree from the rind with a spoon and use it to make a smoothie.
