Crispy potato noodles


Pleasantly crispy fat-free potato pancakes

Do you ever feel like you want to shove something delicious down your cheek? We are very familiar with this feeling. These potato dumplings, the recipe for which we are about to introduce you, will satisfy this craving perfectly. But it’s also healthy and without any added fat. It’s also easy to make, and the ingredients are just what you’re likely to have on hand at home.

Easy to prepare:

  • 600 g peeled potatoes
  • 35 g potato starch
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika powder
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (or add more to taste)

How to make potato skins?

Wash, peel and steam the potatoes until soft. When the potatoes are ready, let them cool for a moment and then place them in a medium bowl. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher. Then add the starch and seasonings and knead with your hands until you have a more or less homogeneous “dough”.

Then form small balls of the mixture between your hands (about 1 tablespoon of mixture per ball) and place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Carefully flatten the balls with a fork.

Bake the potato lambs in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown. Enjoy with your favourite!
