Crispy baked potatoes with herbs and chillies

Delicious baked potatoes that taste so good, you’ll wonder if they’re a healthy snack! Quite crispy on the outside, but just soft on the inside – exactly what a nice baked potato should be. Different herbs add flavour and the result is a really hearty, tasty and healthy amps, which is perfect for lunch, dinner or as a snack. Healthy can also be simple and delicious, try it for yourself!

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil (optional, if you want a fat-free dish, leave out the oil)
  • 2 fresh garlic cloves (crushed)
  • sea salt (add to taste)
  • chilli (optional, add more if desired)
  • fresh herbs of your choice (optional, to serve)

How to make crispy baked potatoes?

Wash and steam the potatoes. When the potatoes are soft, place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and flatten the bottom of the glass. Then drizzle with olive oil (if using) and season with sea salt, garlic and chilli. Spread the seasoning over the potatoes as evenly as possible so that each potato is properly seasoned. Bake the potatoes in the oven at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes until the potatoes have a golden brown colour. Serve the potatoes with fresh herbs and, if you like, a fresh salad.
