Maranta root, arrowroot flour, arrowroot, arrowroot and also arrowroot flour – all these names usually refer to the same product. It is a starch made from the arrowroot plant of tropical origin. In the case of the arrowroot plant, it is a medicinal plant and therefore it is a grain-free flour.
Good for use as a thickener in soups or baked goods. Many recipes replace cornmeal or cornstarch with arrowroot flour.
Ingredients: arrowroot root from certified organic farming.
GMO-free, gluten-free, grain-free, nut-free, organic.
Use 1 tablespoon of flour per 250 ml of liquid. Dissolve in cold water before use.
