How to cook kidney beans?
Rinse and soak the beans in water for at least 10 hours. Then boil for 10 minutes and drain. Add fresh water and cook for about an hour. You can season the cooking water, but avoid adding salt, as it will make the bean skins tough. Allow the beans to cool in boiling water before draining.
