Description

Kelp is a salty sweet seaweed, often used in soups and broths. Powdered kelp is also suitable for adding to salads and baked dishes instead of salt. Kelp goes well with vegetables such as carrots, cabbage, potatoes and swede.

This particular kelp is finely ground and looks like salt when seen in a jar. Therefore, it is ideal for those who want to reduce the amount of salt in their diet but want to maintain a salty taste in a healthy way. Kelp is also added to smoothies for its beneficial properties.

Brown kelp is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals: Kelp contains at least 46 minerals, 16 amino acids (building blocks of protein) and 11 different vitamins.
