Two amazing tips for keeping your immune system strong

Two amazing tips to keep your immune system strong

If you’ve been following Elusväli for a while, you’ll probably know that we offer a range of supplements, one of the main benefits of which is that they support the immune system. In fact, it’s one of the main things the Kleinders want from us! For example, we’ve introduced a zinc and vitamin C chocolate therapy on our blog, which you can read about here. which has already helped many people to stay healthy, based on feedback.

But what if you don’t have the right supplements in your cupboard at the moment, but you feel your immune system is in urgent need of some extra boost? No one has the time or the inclination to be sick. Moreover, for example, exposure to flu viruses can be a trigger for old chronic symptoms to resurface. So we want to protect ourselves from disease, and while people feel the first symptoms, recently there has been an increasing focus on what is happening to our bodies at that moment and how to prevent the virus from flaring up. Strengthening the immune system is a key factor here.

Here are two brilliant and ingenious ways to give your immunity a boost! These are two recipes, and the ingredients for both should be conveniently available in any decent grocery store. The recipes are not ours, but come from the recommendations of Anthony William of Medical Media.

These may seem simple, but don’t let simplicity fool you! Instead, try to feel how well they work for you with your body.

Banana-Norula Roll by Anthony William of Medicine Media Recipe

Fully balanced nori-roll

Here’s a simple but perfectly balanced meal you can roll up in a minute: a nori roll with banana, honey, garlic and lemon juice.

Why these components? They are the key and you need them all! Everyone has an important role to play. Let’s take a closer look at what each component does for your body:

  • Nora leaf (seaweed) gives the body iodine
  • Bananas contain glucose, vitamins C and minerals
  • Honey contains glucose and micronutrients and strengthens white blood cells that fight viruses.
  • Garlic is a powerful anti-viral and anti-bacterial superfood that boosts immunity,
  • The mineral-rich living water in lemon juice takes everything to a whole new level.

Together, these components form an immune-boosting super combo. And by the way – it may sound unbelievable, but it tastes better than you think!

How to make it: place a sheet of nori on a cutting board, place a banana on top, as much chopped garlic as you can consume (for example, one to two cloves) and drizzle honey and lemon juice over everything. Roll it all up and let it taste good!

Tip: start with a smaller amount of garlic and gradually work up to larger amounts. At some point, you may find yourself eating two or three cloves of garlic at a time, for which your body will thank you.

Healing thyme tea

If you constantly have to go to crowded places and feel like you need extra protection from the various viruses circulating around, thyme tea could be your everyday helper. It is a strong antiviral tea, which, among other things, helps in the treatment of chronic diseases caused by viruses such as EBV, shingles, herpes viruses, etc. Thyme, one of the most antioxidant-rich foods ever, also helps with colds and infections and is useful for those with a stressful day.

How to make: put a few thyme sprigs in a cup and pour hot water over them. Leave to infuse for less than 15 minutes. If desired, add raw honey and/or lemon juice to enhance the healing properties of thyme even more! Make thyme tea your daily helper to add confidence and calm to your days.

Tip: Allow to cool slightly before pouring over the thyme leaves. This way, thyme is even more useful.

Hopefully you found some ideas on how to stay healthy and vibrant in these posts. The Elusväli team wishes you health and strength for the autumn!
