Melt-in-the-mouth cinnamon sweet potato smoothie

A smoothie that tastes like dessert! With slight autumn ambience, creamy, sweet, thick and with just the right amount of cinnamon. Almond butter adds even more silkiness to the smoothie, and the whole combination tastes just splendidly. Enjoy this smoothie for breakfast, as a snack or as a dessert – just as it suits you, because as always, it is a completely healthy treat that supplies your body with useful nutrients, without refined sugar, gluten, milk or other stuff that your body is not happy about.??

Preparation time: 10 minutes (if the sweet potato is prepared in advance)

You will need:?

  • 2 medium-sized frozen bananas (the riper the better)
  • 2 handfuls pre-roasted and frozen sweet potato cubes (peeled)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 glasses of unsweetened almond milk (more if needed)
  • 2 tsp almond butter
  • 4 soft pitted dates

How to prepare? 

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until a silky texture is achieved. Enjoy immediately! 

PS! To prepare the sweet potato, peel and cut the sweet potato and place it on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Roast the sweet potato cubes in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes, then cool and place in the freezer.
