You will need:

  • 5 cm piece of fresh aloe
  • 240 – 480 ml of water

 

How to prepare aloe water?

Wash and peel the aloe, then cut a piece of the large leaf to a suitable size (about 5 cm). Peel it, place it in a blender with water, and blend until smooth. Strain through a sieve into a glass and drink immediately (preferably on an empty stomach, so the aloe can work at its best).

NB. If you like, you can also eat a fresh portion of aloe without blending.
