The ingredients are simple, the preparation quick and the taste mouth-watering. Try it and see for yourself!
Servings: 8 bars
Preparation time: 15 minutes + time in the fridge to set.
Difficulty: easy
For preparation:
- 100 g soft pitted dates
- 80 g peanut butter (or other nut butters of your choice)
- 1-2 tablespoons liquid sweetener (e.g. maple syrup or honey)
- 100 g gluten-free oat flakes
- Pinch of salt
- 50 g almond meal
How to make the bars?
Place the dates in a food processor with the sweetener and nut butter and blend until sticky. Then add the oat flakes, almonds and a pinch of salt. Continue to blend until a sticky mass forms.
Press the mixture into a baking paper-lined dish and place it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to set.
Then cut into bars and enjoy. Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
