Decaffeinated wild blueberry latte
Are you looking for a refreshing drink but want to avoid coffee and sometimes want a change from herbal tea? Try this blueberry latte! Indeed, blueberries can be used to make a wholesome, airy latte drink that’s refreshing for the body without a gram of caffeine. All you need is wild blueberries (fresh or frozen), a good-tasting herbal milk and a little honey and cinnamon. But since your eye (or rather your taste buds) is king, try it for yourself, it’s a breeze!
Servings: 1-2 cups

For prepare you need:
- 160 ml water (¾ cup)
- 130 ml of herbal milk (½ cup)
- 100 g frozen and thawed wild blueberries
- 1-2 teaspoons of honey
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom (optional)
How to make it?
Place all the ingredients (except the cinnamon and cardamom!) in a blender and blend until smooth. Then pour the mixture into a smaller pot or saucepan and bring to the boil. Turn off the heat and pour the drink through a fine sieve into cups (if you don’t mind blueberry seeds, you can skip the sieve stage).
Drizzle a little cinnamon and cardamom over the drink and enjoy immediately.
NB! If you want a particularly frothy result, take a little more milk and whisk it with the milk frother. Pour the frothed milk over the blueberry lettuce and finally sprinkle with cinnamon and cardamom.
