Sugar-free snickers bars from 3 ingredients

Did you know that you can make a snickers treat at home with just 3 ingredients?! You don’t need flour, sugar or anything else except dates, nuts and your favourite nut butter. Really, it’s just that simple! Dates are naturally very sweet, and when combined with nut butters they create a rich combination of flavours that tastes like a particularly sinful chocolate bar (or even better!). If you’re a sweet tooth, look no further, this could be your new favourite treat!

To prepare you need:

  • 12 soft dates without stone
  • 60 g natural peanut butter (or other nut butters of your choice)
  • 15 g roasted peanuts (or other nuts of your choice)

How to make Snickers bites?

Remove the stones from the dates, or use soft dates that are already stoneless. Note that dried hard dates are not suitable for this treat. Be sure to use soft dates. Carefully break the dates in half in the middle so that there is an opening that can be filled, but the date stays in one piece. Fill each date with about ½ teaspoon of nut butter and sprinkle with toasted nut crumbs. Enjoy immediately or store in the fridge in an airtight container.
