Sparkling ginger tea with honey and cranberries
Did you know that ginger is rich in vitamin C and has anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties? Ginger also supports the nervous system, digestion and helps to relieve menstrual pain. Ginger can be used both fresh and dried, in savoury and sweet dishes, and in warming drinks. This time you have a simple, but wonderfully suited to the autumn-winter season, recipe for a ginger drink that’s warming on the inside, tastes great and is bursting with health. Preparation is also quick and takes no more than 10 minutes.

How to make igverite?
Wash and peel the ginger. A knife is fine for this, or a spoon if the ginger has a thinner skin. Next, grate the peeled ginger into a bowl with a fine grater and then squeeze the juice from the grated ginger between your hands into a heatproof jug. (You can also press the ginger in a garlic press, so you can easily squeeze the juice out of the ginger.) Then squeeze in the juice of one lemon, add the honey and pour over the hot water. Stir so that the honey dissolves and the flavours blend. Pour the tea into cups and sprinkle with frozen or thawed cranberries, if desired.
