Servings: approx 10-12 crackers
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Difficulty: Easy
To prepare you need:
- 1 cup of seeds of your choice (e.g. sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, etc.)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ⅔ cup cassava flour
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¾ cup hot water
How to make crackers?
First mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add the olive oil and water. Transfer the mixture to a baking tray lined with baking paper and spread it out with a spoon to a thickness of about ½ cm (or you can use the rolling technique – place another sheet of baking paper on the mixture and roll it thin). When you have reached the right thickness, use a knife to cut out rectangular shapes, for example – this way you get nice shaped crackers and don’t have to break off pieces of the large slab later. Place the crackers in the oven at 160 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
